Adult Christian Education

Adult Ministries & Christian Education at

William C. Martin United Methodist Church

"The end of learning is to know God, and out of that knowledge to love Him and imitate Him."

John Milton

Christian Education is a lifelong venture that includes struggling with scripture and the stories of our faith that challenge us to be in right relationship with God and our community. Now is the time to take the opportunity to become involved in a support group, Sunday school class, Life Group, short-term study or a year-long adventure.

At William C. Martin, we are devoted to partnering with people on their faith journey.  Some of us began that journey in childhood while others of us came to a spiritual journey later in life.  There is a need for all adults to find a place where they are encouraged and inspired to continue meeting God at increasingly deeper levels.  That is the ultimate goal of our Adult Ministries.

Learning opportunities are offered in a variety of formats and levels to meet each individual spiritual needs.  New study opportunities will be offered for the new Christian that provides the basics of our faith.  A progression from the Beginnings of Christian faith will be introduced to lead learners to more advanced and in depth studies.

Classes that require study materials or books will be ordered in advance based on the number registered and may be purchased in advance or on the first day of class.  Early purchases can be completed in the Church office.  See Deanna Molsbee or Ted McIlvain.

Childcare is available for most on-campus classes by contacting Cari Vega or Ted McIlvain to arrange for the care.

We invite you to join any group at any time as you make your own faith journey.
